For IBPS RRB Office Assistant – A degree from a trusted university or equivalent to it. Candidate should know the regional language of a state in which they are applying for the IBPS RRB Exams. Computer Skills are also needed.
For IBPS RRB Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager) – Degree from a reputed university or the equivalent degree in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, pisciculture, agricultural marketing & Co., IT, management, law, economics, & accountancy. Knowledge of local language & computer skills is required.
For IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer/Manager) – degree from a recognized university with 50% of aggregate marks or an equivalent degree in banking, finance, marketing, agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, pisciculture, agricultural marketing & Co., IT, management, law, economics, & accountancy. Knowledge of local language & computer skills is required.
IBPS RRB Officer Scale III (Senior Manager) – degree from a recognized university with 50% of aggregate marks or an equivalent degree in banking, finance, marketing, agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, pisciculture, agricultural marketing & Co., IT, management, law, economics, & accountancy. Knowledge of local language & computer skills are required. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required as an officer in a bank or financial institution.

What is the IBPS RRB Selection Process? | IBPS RRB Work Profiles
There is a total of 4 section in which IBPS RRB conducts the exam for the IBPS RRB recruitment. The 4 levels are – Office Assistant (Multipurpose), Officer Scale I, Officer Scale-II & Officer Scale III.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Job (Multipurpose) is a basic opening level job. The work profile includes accounting work, cash collections, cheque & document verification. The exam is divided into two parts – prelims & mains. Candidates clearing both the exam will get the IBPS RRB office assistant job.
IBPS RRB Officer Scale I is a little bit higher level of job. So, the selection process contains three stages – prelims/mains exam & last is an interview process. Aspirants will have to clear all the three stages in order to get the IBPS RRB officer scale I job. The main work profile consists of bringing banking in the rural sector & handling the multitasking duties.
IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II & III is the highest level of jobs in IBPS RRB vacancies. So, the difficulty level of IBPS RRB exams for these posts is bit tough. Note that the selection process for IBPS RRB officer scale II& III is divided into only 2 sections – candidates just have to give one exam which means there is no prelims & mains.
